A Fine Companion for the VaultletSuite 2 Go Beta
April 27, 2007
While testing the VaultletSuite 2 Go beta, I realized that I needed a USB drive that was a bit more spacious and a tad faster than my now ancient 512MB SanDisk Cruzer Micro. After reading a quite a few reviews, I decided to purchase the Corsair 4GB Flash Voyager GT.
I’m quite pleased thus far; there’s a significant speed boost when using the Corsair with the VaultletSuite and the VaultletSuite 2 Go beta: my local (encrypted) address book with hundreds of addresses, and thousands of archived (also encrypted!) messages load about 50% faster than they previously did.
Another advantage of having 4GB to play with is that I can now carry *everything* I would conceivably need to demo and install both the production and beta versions of the VaultletSuite on Windows, OS X, Linux and Solaris.
Despite the fact that I actually spent a couple of hours researching a measley $50 purchase, I’m really quite pleased with it.
